Adding dependent(s) to your Kina account

Visit the MEMBER section, select the DEPENDENT tab, and click ADD DEPENDENT.

1 . Create profile: Enter their name and date of birth, and upload a photo (optional).

Once completed, you can add daycares and schools to your dependents.

2. Adding school(s) or daycare(s):

Step 1: Open the menu from the dependent's profile and select ADD SCHOOL.

Step 2: Select your school from our dropdown menu. If you do not see your school, select "out of network" and add manually.

Step 3: Depending on your school, you might receive an email from Kina for a copy of your invoice for verification.

Earning Kina points

Visit the TUITION section and select your school from the drop-down menu.

	Option 1: If you see this screen, continue to pay your tuition with your school as usual. Once that is completed, report your payment details in the pop-up and forward your payment receipts to (invoice@kinarewards.com) within 30 calendar days of the payment date to collect your points.
	Option 2: If you see this screen, select your payment method to pay your tuition on the Kina platform and receive points.

How do I submit payment confirmation receipts for reward points?

To earn points by submitting your tuition payment receipt, please forward us a copy of your payment confirmation to invoice@kinarewards.com within 30 days of your payment date.

The payment confirmation must include:

A) The payment date and amount
B) Family information: parent name or family account ID that matches your invoice.

Please note:

1. You will only receive reward points if the information from your receipts matches your invoice and account information.

2. Payments must be made via ACH (bank), debit, or credit card in order to earn rewards (no checks).

Can I submit old receipts to earn points?

No. To earn points, we must receive the confirmation receipt by email within 30 days of your payment date.

For example, if your tuition payment was paid on May 5th, you have until June 4th to submit your receipt and collect points.

Kina will NOT retroactively credit prior receipts. This means that if you submit your January payment receipt to Kina in May, you will not receive any reward points.

What if I pay my tuition as a lump sum annual payment?

If your school is in our network, you will receive 1 point per $1 on your tuition payment, up to 24,000 points per calendar year.

Otherwise, you will earn up to 750 points per child on tuition payments made within that month.

How long does it take for my points to post to my account?

Points can take up to 5 business days to post to your account.

Rewards Program Basics

Can't I use my current credit card to pay for daycare or tuition and earn points?

Most daycares and schools accept only ACH or checks for payment, meaning parents miss out on reward points for an average of $25,000 in tuition per child each year!

Daycares and schools typically charge a 3% surcharge when paying by credit card, nullifying the value of any reward points earned.

Kina allows parents to earn rewards on their family's tuition payments without paying the 3% fee.

Is Kina free to join?

Kina Rewards is a loyalty program exclusively designed by parents for parents. Anyone can sign up and start earning rewards.

Which type of tuition payments are eligible for Kina Rewards?

Daycare, family childcare, preschool and K-12.

What does it mean for a school or daycare to be "in-network"?

In-network schools are signed up as official Kina Rewards loyalty program partners.

How can I tell if my child's school or daycare is in the Kina network?

In-network partners are labeled in the Kina platform.

If you received emails or communications about Kina from your school or daycare, they are likely an official partner.

How can I get my school or daycare to join your network and earn more points?

It's easy! Email us the contact information of the program director or principal at hello@kinarewards.com, and we'll reach out!

How much are Kina points worth?

Like most credit card loyalty programs, Kina points are worth around 1 cent per point. However, points might be worth more or less depending on the items being redeemed.

Kina MasterCard

If my school doesn't accept credit cards, can I still use the Kina Mastercard for payment?

Yes, add your Kina Mastercard as a payment method on your Kina portal. There are no transaction fees if you pay with your Kina Mastercard.

Can I use my Kina Mastercard to make direct payments to my school?

Yes, however, your school will charge you a 3% processing fee if you use your card directly with them.

To avoid the processing fee, add your Kina Mastercard as a payment method on your Kina payment portal to submit payment.

Why should I get the Kina Mastercard if I'm already part of the Kina loyalty program?

The Kina Mastercard has no annual fees; cardholders receive extra perks and earn the maximum on family expenses.

In addition to getting 1 point per dollar spent on daycare and tuition, cardholders will also receive:
